Beautiful cold weather today so I took Alison my wife on a reconnaissance trip to Mevagissey to look for new locations. We found a good bar for lunch and had a walk round the harbour.  Plain blue skies are a little boring for good landscape images, but they are better than wet grey sky.  After lunch went up the coast a few miles to Charlestown another nice location. Both places are about  one hour  from my base in Hayle but with so many fantastic closer locations I don’t think they will be regular visits. Unfortunately I missed a beautiful sunset as we were  driving home on the A30. There’s always another day!
